  1. First you have to register your business by using options like firm, pvt., pvt. Ltd., proprietorship etc.
  2. Secondly you must have the IEC(Import Export Code), which is a 10 digit number , issued by DGFT(Directorate General of Foreign Trade).   3. Spice Registration Certificate : This is the third step. If you want to start export business from India, then you must have valid certificate of registration as exporter of spices(CRES), issued by Indian spices board.     • Copy of IEC certificate.
    • DD of Rs. 5000 only in favour of “Spices Board” payable at “Earnkulam”.
    • Confidential Bank Certificate.
    • Self certified copies of Sales Tax Registration.
    • Copy of PAN card.
    • Scanned passport size photo with white background of CEO/authorized person of organization.
  4. Phytosanitary Certificate : Like CRES, it’s an another mandatory certificate. It is basically an official document which is used to test the consignments of plants or plant products, assuring the plants or plant products are free from pest and free to use.   5. Authorized Dealer(AD) Code : Authorized Dealer Code is a letter receiver from your bank mentioning the bank’s authorized dealer code.When you start an operation with a new port you must have the AD code which is a 14 digit number. For AD code, you first need to open current account. After this, AD code registration is to be required with custom department. Following documents are required for Ad Code registration :
    • Bank certificate
    • Bank statement
    • IEC copy
    • ITR i.e. IT returns
    • Sales Tax copy
    • Sales Tax return
    • Sales Tax + CST
    • Pan card
    • Voter ID card
    • Registration charges for each port registration is INR 3000.00 + service tax
